This years St. Patrick's Academy Primary School Blitz for large schools was held in the Mid Ulster Sports Arena Cookstown on Tuesday 24 May. Our boys did us proud by winning all their games to reach the final where they met St. John's P.S. Moy. The girls where unlucky to come up against some strong teams from Carrickmore, Pomeroy, Moy and where knocked out in the early stages.
I am pleased to report that for the second year running St. Patrick's P.S. Donaghmore (boys) where triumphant and the Academy Cup is again with us for another year. Congratulations to Mr Harte and his team for a terrific effort.
